INTERMEDIATE WRITING WORKSHOP!
How it works:
When you sign up for this workshop, you’ll be asked to submit ten pages of a work-in-progress. The work can be prose fiction or prose nonfiction (no poetry or scripts, please). Pages must be in 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 1” margins.
Two weeks before the workshop meets, all workshop attendees will receive a digital “packet” of materials to review, consisting of eight total stories (your own among them). You will then be expected to read and comment on all seven of your fellow writers’ stories prior to class. (But you will actually get feedback from eight writers, because your facilitator, a professional writer and editor, will participate, too!)
On Saturday, we will workshop five writers’ stories before breaking for lunch, followed by the remaining three writers’ stories after lunch. Each writer will receive 30 minutes of oral feedback from the group, as well as written feedback to review at your leisure.
Think of it this way: A round of developmental manuscript editing costs, on average, $2,000. Here, you can get EIGHT beta readers’ feedback for the cost of your monthly coffee!

Early bird (through June 30): $130
